In particular the control of air pollutant emissions from vessels was identified as one of the priorities of the Environment workstream. The purpose of this procurement is to fit Diesel Particulate Filters to the three TfL financed Woolwich Ferry, in order to reduce emissions of Particulate Matter.

Special emphasis will be given towards the provision of Red Tractor, Organic and Fair Trade products where applicable. Fresh produce will be a key element in the delivery of circa 2m meals provided to the athletes during Games time.
